Georgetown Collective was founded in 2023 by Redding resident, Jess Tyson. Jess has worn many hats in her life—entrepreneur, author, podcaster, mother, founder, friend, daughter, gardener, wife—but her biggest passion, and the one with whom she identifies the most, is community builder. That’s why creating Georgetown Collective was a natural progression in her life’s journey.

Jess has been working remotely since 2010 when she started her virtual assistant agency, Don’t Panic Management. But since having children and living through the pandemic, she found it was time to physically separate from home and all its distractions. Unfortunately, the Redding area was limited as far as quiet spaces to work, so she started looking for an office that she could make her own.

Georgetown is the perfect place for a small coworking space, so when the opportunity to rent at 28 Main Street presented itself, she knew she had to climb on board and hold on for the ride!

Georgetown Collective is designed to be a gathering space for professionals of all kinds, but is geared particularly toward working parents who need a safe, clean, and welcoming space to get their work done uninterrupted. In addition to a work room with shared and dedicated desks, it also offers a conference room for both in-person and virtual meetings, a living room for relaxing and reading, and a laptop bar for standing or just getting a chance of scenery. We provide tea, coffee, water, seltzer, and lots and lots of snacks. There’s room for you to bring lunch or patron our local businesses when you’re hungry. We look forward to welcoming you in!
